(4mm P4) CLASS 31 DIESEL ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE

Description:
This Hornby class 31 locomotive has been modified by:
1. Conversion to P4.
2. DCC fitted with sound.
3. Shawplan grill and roof modifications.
4. Shawplan headcode discs.
5. Modelu driver.
6. Renumbering and branding as a class 31/0.
7. Weathering.

Model Name:
(4mm EM) ex GWR Parcels Railcar No 34

Description:
This is a Lima railcar in 4mm converted to EM. The model has been remotored and repainted with Fox lining transfers and Cambridge Custom items for the branding. Fine gauze has been used to replace the radiator grills on the lower body and it has been re-glazed with a mixture of Extreme Etchings products for the cabs and hand cut windows on the sides. The model is DCC and has a DCC servo in one end that can rotate the driver out of sight when travelling in the opposite direction. Regrettably, this can’t be done at both ends as the motor is in the way so that ‘driver’ becomes a guard! The weathering is based on a couple of colour shots I have.
