A Laser Cutting Guide. This video, in two parts, takes you through how to get started in 2D CAD design, using TurboCAD in this case but the principles are similar with any CAD package, and how to use that to prepare for and cut on a laser cutter. It provides guidance on the steps you need to take and highlights some of the pitfalls that can be avoided.
Part 1 covers the basics and takes you through the key steps in designing a building and Part 2 explains how to prepare that design for the laser cutter itself.
A version of this was produced by Roger for the Missenden Modellers Virtual Weekend.

A Laser Cutting Example. Paul's slideshow takes us through the steps from finding pictures of a real prototype, through the layers he designed for a laser cutter, to show the completed building as a replica of the original suitable for his N Scale layout.
Laser Cutter Projects. Paul pursues some simple projects on the laser cutter to improve a commercial kit.
More Laser Cutter Projects. More improvements to commercial kits from Paul.
Laser Cutter Tips. While cutting small details for his layout Paul provides some useful tips that apply to all.
Laser Cut Plants. Paul uses the laser cutter to produce homemade plants for Okehampton.
Laser Cutter Textures. In this article Adrian takes the first steps in using photographs to make a laser cutter produce complex textures.
Building Klondyke Road Bridge. James explains how he took Adrian's efforts with manipulating images and used the laser cutter to produce a bridge for Okehampton.
Laser Cut Lettering. Something a little different from James, using to use a bitmap of some lettering to produced raised lettering, as in a station name board for instance.
